I graduated from the translation studies program of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, specializing in technical translation in the fields of power generation (gasification of coal, to be exact) and plastics molding technology.
On top of my translation expertise I gathered hands-on experience working in power plants, chemical plants, and refineries as an insulation technician as well as teaching Technical English as adjunct professor with my university’s Department of Applied Natural Sciences.
